多摩川音響は撥弦楽器奏者の山田朋秋のソロ活動の場。
ライブやレコーディングでは、他のメンバーも参加することもあるが流動的で、あくまでソロのプロジェクトである。
現代音楽、ジャズ、民族音楽、特にオーネットコールマン、ホセインアリザーデの音楽には影響を受けている。
現在は、異なる音楽、またその演奏者を「融合」させるのではなくそれぞれが「共生」することで、本当の意味での自由な音楽を生み出すべく＜Symbiosis music＞（造語）を掲げ音楽活動を続けている。

今作は弦楽器のブズーキを主にしながらも様々な音をマルチトラックで録音されている。
やはり「音を共生させる」というコンセプトで作られる。
様々な音が同時に鳴っていると、立体音響やポリフォニーなどのキーワードを持ち出したくなるが、様々な音の間には相関関係は想定されておらず、あくまで個の音の共生である。
ブズーキの即興演奏、音色の面白さ、音に広がり、などの面からも楽しめる作品。
ジャケットは木版画作家、東本由佳理によるもの。

Tamagawa Onkyou is solo project of Tomoaki Yamada.
Tomoaki Yamada is Stringed musical instrument player.
Other members may participate by live broadcasting and the recording, too.
He is affected by contemporary music, jazz, folk music.
He is affected by Ornette Coleman in particular.
He aims at "the symbiosis" of the different music now.

This album records various sounds in a multitrack.
The bouzouki which is a stringed instrument,electronic sound , brass instrument, field sound,etc..
After all this album is made with the symbiosis of the sound as a concept.
It is the work which improvisation of the bouzouki, the fun of the tone, a sound can enjoy from the aspects such as expanses.
The design of this jacket was made by Yukari Higashimoto of the woodcut writer.
